This weekend starts in style with free Live Music at The Bandstand in Battersea Park on Saturday 15 June!
Throughout the day various groups and singers will be performing for your pleasure, while a number of children’s activities and opportunities for plenty of refreshment will be surrounding The Bandstand. Street food traders have been carefully chosen to ensure there is something for everyone, and a fully stocked bar serving locally sourced beer and cocktails!
The day runs from 11 am to 8.30pm and the range of music should ensure there is plenty for all to tap their toes along to…and perhaps even have a boogie! From furious flamenco to jumpin’ gypsy jazz, the line up is sure to attract all.

The line-up
King Cassady
We’re King Cassady, an up-and-coming, bartab-running, come-rain-or-come-sunning trio bringing you our own blend of Furious Flamenco, Jumpin’ Gypsy Jazz and Boppin’ Beats.
Trio Manouche
Trio Manouche are probably the UK’s best-loved gypsy swing ensemble, playing music it’s impossible not to love with infectious energy, virtuosity and joy. They are residents at many of London’s top live music venues and have performed for some of the world’s most glamorous private parties and events. Celebrities, reviewers, industry press and private clients have lined up to shower them with praise, with Sting, Rory Bremner, KT Tunstall and the late great Jack Massarik numbering among their fans.
Tarantola
Tarantola: soulful Italian gipsy-music mixed with lively rock undertones, straight from the heel of Italy. Tarantula always delivers an exotic and groovy set, mixing live music with a circus performance.
DJ Chris Tofu
Established in 1995 DJ Chris Tofu has become a pioneer of Vintage Remix and the UK Festival scene, sharing his obsession with all things remixed and raucous with jumping crowds across the globe! From Glastonbury to Istanbul this musical maverick is constantly exploring, discovering and creating new sounds and new experiences, mixing up the formula for good vibe pie!
Full Tilt Collective
Brass heavy 11 piece party starters Full Tilt burst onto the scene in September 2016 and have since been taking their unique blend of funk, reggae, soul, rock, hip hop and ska to venues across London. The band have made a name for themselves playing at the likes of Hootananny Brixton, Rich Mix, Archspace, The Fox and Firkin and The Magic Garden as well as festivals like Sunrise Celebration, Hogsozzle and Isle of Wight.
Faith i Branko
The duo met in Branko’s Romani village in 2009, and – with music as their only tool for communication – began a journey that would lead to their marriage, their last album ‘Gypsy Lover’ being placed in the top 10 World Music Charts, a successful international touring schedule and a soon to be released documentary.
Dat Brass
Hailing from the streets of London and raised by its punk-jazz underbelly, Dat Brass are a high octane, a ten-piece brass outfit who have been kicking off parties and festivals across the UK. With an anthemic blend of horns, lyrical verse, pounding percussion and razor-sharp scratch sounds, Dat Brass has single-handedly changed the face of big band music as we know it.
