Four Artists in Four Weeks

The course provides an overview of four artists; Matisse, Monet, Gustav Klimt and Lowry. We will study their influences and life changing events and discuss how this evoked their work. The course will provide the learner with the opportunity to identify some of the stimuli the artists may have been influenced by and to identify key works which impacted upon the modern art world.
