Following the success of the previous three festivals, the Farnham Literary Festival is back in 2025 with an all new programme of author talks, panel discussions and readings. Offering the perfect opportunity to learn more about your favourite authors and their motivations, this years festival also includes a number of workshops and poetry and writing competitions for budding creative minds.
Last years festival in 2024, marked a huge milestone for this fantastic event with over 2,500 people taking part in 40 events across 10 days. The festival inspired, enthused, educated and entertained, bringing literature, books and writing to people of all interests.
Among the highlights were author visits to school children, a sold-out evening with Hugh Bonneville, a history day at Farnham Castle with Alison Weir and Louise Morrish, and workshops for all ages.
This years festival promises to be bigger and better with more than 50 events planned between the 6th and 16th of March and more authors, perfomances and competitions than ever before.
