Conductor Darrell Davison leads Epsom Symphony Orchestra
Epsom Symphony Orchestra perform Dvorak, Handel and Brahms on 15 May
On Sunday 15 May, at 7.30pm, Epsom Symphony Orchestra will be joined by award-winning violinist for a stunning classical concert.
Under the baton of Darrell Davison, the local musicians will play an Elgar arrangement of Handel's Overture in D minor and Dvorak's Eighth symphony.
And a highlight will be the performance by Ionel Manciu, a previous winner of the Croydon Concerto Competition, who will play Brahms Violin Concerto. Ionel, from the Republic of Moldova, has performed many prestigious venues across Europe. They include the Casa de Musica in Porto, the Wigmore Hall, Barbican Hall and Milton Court in London, the Mozarteum Concert Hall in Salzburg and the Romanian Atheneum in Bucharest.
