invite you to a talk about
HOW THE ENCOUNTER WITH FAITH IS A TURNING POINT FOR MANY IN THE PRISON SYSTEM
by Marie Norbury, Prison Advice and Care Trust (PACT)
Locked on the margins of society, out of sight and out of mind, with overcrowding and around 90,000 people in prison in England and Wales, can the discovery and deepening of faith amongst prisoners make a life changing and positive difference to them and their families? As called for by the Catholic Church, should there be more focus on helping those who commit crimes to truly find mercy, forgiveness, and redemption for their good and that of Society? Find out more in this fascinating talk.
There will be refreshments and a retiring collection at the end of the talk.
