At 8.30 pm on Saturday 24 March 2018, hundreds of millions of people across the world will turn off their lights for one hour in a momentous show of support to protect our planet.
This year for Earth Hour we’re asking everyone to pledge to change one thing in their everyday life that will help protect our planet. You could switch to a green energy supplier, ditch plastic bags or carry a reusable coffee cup. Your promise might seem fairly small individually, but millions of people taking these actions together will have a massive, powerful impact.
Be part of the world’s biggest movement to protect our planet. Share your promise with us at wwf.org.uk/earthhour and switch off your lights at 8.30pm on Saturday 24 March. It’s your planet, and you have the power to protect it this Earth Hour.
If space/characters are limited:
One hour, lights out, 24 March 8:30pm.
Join the global movement of people who care about protecting our planet:
• Make a Promise for the Planet – a simple change to help make a big difference
• Switch off your lights on 24 March to show your commitment
