This new exhibition of fashion at the National Trust’s Polesden Lacey delves into the way people dressed through history and explores the coded messages about power, politics, and personality. It includes historic fashion displays, new designs, photographs, films and talks.
Launched in collaboration with Wimbledon College of Arts, the event also showcases upcoming design talent with final year theatre students designing costumes inspired by the house’s former owner and socialite, Margaret Greville.
