Don’t miss Woking & Sam Beare Hospices’ fantastic event at Goldsworth Park Lake where you and your team will race against the competition to raise funds.
On Sunday 3rd July our popular Dragon Boat Challenge and Fun Day, sponsored by Trident Honda, will return to Goldsworth Park Lake and will see teams race against each other, and the clock, to raise funds for our Hospices. The event will once again be held in memory of Kris Cook who grew up close to the lake where he pursued his love of water sports and will reflect the joy and spirit with which Kris took on fundraising for our Hospices.
No previous experience is necessary and all equipment, including boats and life jackets, will be provided on the day. To take part all you have to do is recruit your team of 12-20 people, register for just £25 per person and then as a team you can raise sponsorship to support the Hospices. Dragon Boating is a great team building exercise and we have some great corporate opportunities. So why not get your employer and work colleagues on board too!
Come along on the day to spectate and enjoy the fun activities taking place around the lake, there’s something for everyone including a bouncy castle, ice cream, Pimm’s tent, BBQ, face painting, games, entertainment and more!
The minimum age is 12 and anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult in the team.
