DOORMAN
BAFTA award-winning writer, Geoff Thompson’s Doorman was inspired by Geoff’s time working ‘on the door’ himself for nine years in some of the toughest nightclubs in the UK. This gritty play explores the painful contradictions of being “a decent man trapped in a dark trade” (The Guardian).
Directed by Michael Vale (RSC, National Theatre, Royal Opera House) and performed by Richie McDonald (Wolfe, Domino Day, Baghdad Central).
Followed by a Q&A with the creative team on 7 May.
