The Dominic Alldis Trio is one of the most exciting jazz piano trios in the UK. Their repertoire encompasses jazz arrangements of familiar classical themes, folk songs and childhood melodies, as well as popular jazz standards from the Great American Songbook. Their influences range from Jacques Loussier to George Shearing, via Bill Evans and the Modern Jazz Quartet. Expect an evening of exquisite chamber music from three remarkable musicians fluent in the language of both classical music and jazz, a celebration of melody reimagined. Dominic Alldis is a professor of Jazz piano and Improvisation of the Royal Academy of Music.
