I Am My Own Wife is the true story of Charlotte Von Mahlsdorf. Her courageous and profoundly moving story takes us not only from the last days of WW11 to the fall of the Berlin wall but gives a heartfelt insight into the struggle of survival and self-respect. Her survival is a complex, compelling tale of courage, dedication and heartbreak.
Steven Mann plays transvestite Charlotte von Mahlsdorf and 17 other characters in this DDOS production, on at The Green Room Theatre (behind the Dorking Halls), Dorking from 23rd to 27th June 2015 at 7.45 pm.
