Take part in this ‘Come and Sing Messiah’ to prepare for Easter. Following on from Messiah Part 1 ‘Come and sing’ before Christmas, this Palm Sunday event at St Martin’s Church offers the story of the Passion and Resurrection of Christ as told in Handel’s iconic work. All are welcome to join in to help raise the roof of St Martin’s, Epsom’s largest historic building. The conductor is Richard Dacey, St Martin's Director of Music, and the organist is Iain Macfarlane.
Rehearsal is from 4.30pm to 5.45pm, followed by a break for refreshments, with the performance starting at 6.30pm.
If you want to come and listen rather than come and sing, then you will also be very welcome.
Scores will be provided, but if you have your own score, please bring it. The event is free with a retiring collection towards expenses.
