Coleus in the Glasshouse

This month the Glasshouse display features Solenostemon, otherwise known as Coleus. Solenostemon are bushy evergreen, woody-based perennials grown for their toothed, often colourful leaves rather than the whorls of small 2-lipped tubular flowers. Commonly known as coleus, they make great container or patio plants, and are often grown as decorative house plants. Free with normal garden admission.
