Back for a third year, this one-day festival features BBC veteran Frank Gardener OBE discussing how his warzone reporting informs his thrillers, TV historian and bestselling novelist Professor Kate Williams dipping between royal fact and fiction with Rival Queens, and Ursula Buchan on her biography of her grandfather, author of The Thirty Nine Steps.
Historian Henry Hemming will read from his new book Our Man in New York about the covert British campaign to influence American public during the Second World War and Ondaatje winner Aida Edemariam reveals the exotic life of her Ethiopian grandmother.
Clapham Writers will host a meet and greet with local authors from 8.30 pm in Omnibus Theatre – all are welcome.
