On 6th April 2020, Captain Tom Moore took to his garden to walk 100 laps in support of the NHS. He won the nation’s heart and raised an incredible £38.9 million for NHS COVID-19 Appeal! His message, ‘Tomorrow will be a good day’, uplifted and inspired people throughout the pandemic.
On Friday 30th April 2021, he would have celebrated his 101st birthday and to honour him, people around the world are taking part in the Captain Tom 100 Challenge!
The Captain Tom 100 Challenge involves fundraising with the number 100 in mind, whether that’s jumping on the spot 100 times, baking 100 cupcakes or running 100 laps round the block. The Challenge will take place between Friday 30th April and Monday 3rd May, so you will have plenty of time to complete your 100!
If you would like to support The Children’s Trust by taking part in The Captain Tom 100, we have set up a JustGiving page where your friends and family can donate. Just come up with your challenge then direct them to Captain Tom 100 (justgiving.com), where they can sponsor you!
