It’s 1979. Disco is god and Valerie is very much her disciple. She and Keith have been happily married for 15 years and are still very much in love. But a chance phone call throws all of this into question. Who is Keith really? And who does that make Valerie?
This new drama explores lies and reality within a marriage. The inspiration for the piece was the true story reset to 1979 with a bittersweet disco soundtrack, the unravelling of his lies is the unsettling backdrop to this piece of original theatre.

Based on a True Story… Theatre Company are a newly formed company set up to tell stories inspired by real events. Resident playwright Sean Lang is a historian and has been writing plays based on historical events for many years, including a trilogy of full length plays set in World War 1 (The Great War Cycle).
