In a not too distant future, a group of teens have been meeting in secret. A number of luxuries have been banned from their world, including music.
Jake, a rebellious teen in the group, decides to play some music but the others know it will get them into trouble…
Unfortunately they are found. Once captured, they are locked away and made to listen to the most horrible sounds, making their childhood nightmares come to life. However, not all hope is lost as from all this chaos come two imaginary friends – Shark and Squid.
They help the group fight their fears together by expressing themselves through music.
