Dog owners are invited to bring along their four-legged friends to the National Trust’s annual outdoor fun day, Bark! in the Park’on Sunday 27th September.
Join in with a variety of have-a-go activities and canine competitions provided by a range of local charities and organisations. Will you be able to complete the Doggy Challenge Run by overcoming the obstacles and finding the hidden treats? There is also a fun dog show with a varied selection of classes.
Visitors can also take a stroll around Petworth Park and test run the latest camera equipment from Panasonic and watch films to learn more about responsible dog walking, in partnership with the South Downs National Park Authority.
Outdoor enthusiasts will similarly enjoy browsing the range of fabulous shopping stalls at the event. Highlights include Doddle for Dogs, who sell bespoke dog collars, Willows Woofers, an organic dog spa and a pop up photography studio provided by Dog Star Photo plus lots more!

The Big Petworth Park Walk and Run is a 5k walk or 10k run around Petworth Park in support of local charity, Canine Partners. Holly Bryan, Events and Challenges Coordinator at Canine Partners, is "delighted" that the event will have such marvellous surroundings. "This will be a wonderful day out for dog lovers, at the same time raising awareness of the work we do in training dogs to change the lives of people with disabilities."
