From The Queen's Gallery at Buckingham Palace to Equally Regal Fetcham Park! - Bach to Baby Presents 'Fiesta!', a Special Family Concert at Surrey's Award-Winning Wedding Venue
As part of its Heritage Open Day on Sunday September 13th 2015, Surrey's award-winning wedding venue, Fetcham Park, will welcome guests to a special family concert presented by Bach to Baby, the critically acclaimed concert series for babies, tots, their parents and carers.
Creating exceptional classical music experiences for families, Bach to Baby brings outstanding musicians from the top concert stages to inspiring locations across London, Kent, Surrey and the Thames Valley.
Tots can dance, roam about and revel in the wonder of live music while their adult companions are able to enjoy exhilarating performances with young babes in tow. No concert is complete without feeding, crying and nappy changing!
Founder Miaomiao Yu is "delighted to present a very special Bach to Baby concert as part of the Heritage Open Day at Fetcham Park. At Bach to Baby, we want to create a future where children can enjoy great live music from their very earliest moments. We hope visitors will sit back, relax, and let the music and the beautiful surroundings of Fetcham Park inspire them and their family."
Previously presented at Buckingham Palace, the programme for 'Fiesta!' features music by Villa-Lobos, Albeniz and Tarrega, aurally transporting the audience to the warmer climes of Spain and Latin America. Dubbed "the ‘guitar queen’ with a silken touch” by The Independent, classical guitarist Amanda Cook has performed throughout the UK, Europe, USA and South America.
As well as outstanding classical music, visitors will also be able to enjoy the exquisite beauty of Fetcham Park, a unique setting that boasts designs by William Talman and gardens originally landscaped by George London.
While the concert will take place in the Salon, a room adorned with breath-taking architectural details and thousands of books of real gold leaf, guests will be free to admire stunning murals created by Louis Laguerre, whose work can also be found at Chatsworth, Petworth and Hampton Court, as well as the elegant surroundings of the Great Hall and nearby Shell Room.
Fetcham Park will be open 2-5pm on Sunday 13th September for Heritage Open Day.
Entrance to the house and concert is FREE but to reserve concert places please email: hello@fetchampark.co.uk and specify the number of adults and children attending.
Places in the concert room will be allocated and acknowledged on a first come basis.
