1. Michael Gove, 51
Constituency: Surrey Heath (since 2005)
Current ministerial post: Environment Secretary
Brexit stance: Does not rule out delaying beyond October 31 if a deal is within reach.
Other policies: Replacing VAT with a lower sales tax
Kitchen status: Shared with Daily Mail columnist Sarah Vine
Drug use: Has taken cocaine on several occasions when he was working as a journalist
Fun fact: According to his wife, he’s a terrible skier and is devoted to Clarins skincare products.
2. Sam Gyimah, 42
Constituency: East Surrey (since 2010)
Current ministerial post: None (most recently, Universities Minister Jan-Nov 2018)
Brexit stance: He is open to a second referendum
Other policies: Plans to abolish Britain’s five worst taxes, including stamp duty for homes under £1million.
Kitchen status: No doubt shared with his wife, Dr Nicky Black, and their two children, but photographs of any domestic appliances are yet to be released.
Drug use: Never
Fun fact: He’s an Arsenal fan and has run a marathon.
3. Jeremy Hunt, 52
Constituency: SW Surrey (since 2005)
Current ministerial post: Foreign Secretary
Brexit stance: Plans to renegotiate the deal.
Other policies: To abolish illiteracy which is likely to prove more popular than his idea to half the legal time limit for abortions from 24 to 12 weeks.
Kitchen status: Usually photographed on his bike rather than in his Hambledon kitchen
Drug use: Drank cannabis lassi when a backpacker
Fun fact: Last year, he made an embarrassing gaffe on a visit to China. He said his wife, Lucia Guo, was Japanese – she was actually born in Xian in central China.
4. Boris Johnson, 54
Constituency: MP for Uxbridge & Ruislip (since 2015)
Formerly MP for Henley (2001-8) and London Mayor (2008-16)
Current ministerial post: None (most recently Foreign Secretary 2016-18)
Brexit stance: Will exit EU on October 31 with or without a deal. Will withhold the £39 billion Brexit divorce payment until Brussels agrees
Other policies: More tax cuts for high earners.
Kitchen status: Formerly shared with his wife Marina Wheeler from whom he separated in September 2018. His current squeeze is said to be ex Tory aide Carrie Symonds, 31.
Drug use: Tried cocaine and cannabis at university

5. Dominic Raab, 45
Constituency: Esher & Walton (since 2010)
Current ministerial post: None (most recently, Brexit Secretary July-Nov 2018)
Brexit stance: Does not rule out ditching the Irish back-stop, a no-deal Brexit and suspending Parliament to ensure that MPs cannot block the UK leaving on Oct 31
Other policies: The development of clean energy and a penny off income tax for everyone
Kitchen status: Duck egg blue and cream and situated in Thames Ditton, it recently had a starring role in a Sunday Times Magazine article about Raab and his wife Erika Rey
