We recently reviewed the fabulous new home delivery service from Frankonia the Bread House, and you’ll remember how impressed we were. If you missed it, check our website here.
Frankonia was – until Lockdown – purely a wholesale bakery, supplying most of London’s top establishments, including the House of Lords.
Not wanting to turn the ovens off after over 20 years and lose her loyal staff, owner Birgit Gunz offered her products to the public. There’s now a small shop at the bakery in Surbiton (frankonia.co.uk for details), a kiosk on Hastings Pier till early October and a concession at Planters Garden Centre at Hurst Green on the A21.
The home deliveries have really taken off, as customers appreciate the luxury of top quality, freshly baked bread and morning goods for the weekend without having to leave home!
Well, we’ve persuaded Frankonia to offer not just one, but ten of our lucky readers the chance to win a delivery of a fabulous Frankonia Artisan box*.
The prize contains: Malted Seeded Sourdough 400g, Artisan sourdough 400g, Olive & Rosemary bread 400g, 2 Pain au Chocolate, 2 Croissant, 2 Chocolate muffin, 2 Apple crumble muffin
