GSC continue their annual Bash for Shakespeare’s Birthday with their ever-popular SONNET WALKS. Akin to a treasure hunt, the walks take audiences on a mystery walking-tour where they will encounter Shakespeare and his characters in the least likely of places. In previous years, the specially designed route has included the roof of House of Fraser, a fortune teller in Rack’s Close, a prisoner in the Castle Keep, and last year St Catherine’s Ruin and a field of sheep!
The starting point for this year’s walks is Stoke Park Home Farm (off Nightingale Road). To retain the mystery and fun, the route of this year’s walk will be kept under wraps until the first walkers set off on Saturday 22 April. Each walk lasts approximately 60 mins and run every 15 minutes. Full details are on the GSC website.
