10 October – 1 November, Glasshouse open daily from 10am – 5:15pm (3:45pm from 19 October)
This month, the Glasshouse presents a display of elegant autumn flowering bulbs from the Amaryllidaceae family, the nerines. Originally from Southern Africa, they are elegant plants with strap-like leaves and tall stems terminating in umbels of between five and ten trumpet-shaped flowers. Often in sharp shades of pink, orange and red, they are very much part of the autumn colour of Wisley. Free once inside the Garden
