Since the year dot, deaf people have used signing to communicate. British Sign Language is an official language in this country – but one which very few people choose to learn – despite it being good fun and highly rewarding. Would you like to find out about British Sign Language, have fun, learn some signs and understand a little about Deaf culture?
There are approximately 45,000 D/deaf children in the UK. Many of whom do not have signing parents. Dot Sign aim to encourage parents, grandparents and educators to gain some level of basic sign language BSL – to break down the communication barriers which exist for these children.
These ‘Taster Sessions’ are only £12 (and include tea and biscuits!). GO ON, you know you want to! Book in advance using the numbers below.
