Be sure to drop in on the next Kew Village Market on Sunday 4th June, 10am to 2pm. There’ll be 45 stalls in all and joining regular favourites there’ll be some interesting newcomers selling award-winning (British) charcuterie, authentic oven-ready Indian curries and hot samosas – and fresh goat meat too. We’ve a wider choice than ever of street food: soups and salads, free-range bacon, sausage and roast pork rolls, venison burgers and Colombian dishes plus for vegans and vegetarians falafel wraps and Ethiopian/Eritrean stews – with crepes or ice-cream to follow... All so you can enjoy your lunch along with the live music.
And have we got a band – or rather bands – for you! To celebrate the twinning of Richmond and Fontainebleau in France, our own Elastic Band will be joined by members of Union Musicale de Fontainebleau for some entente cordiale over popular classics, show tunes, jazz standards and surely some chansons d’amour...
